How It Started

Hi, I'm a new dad from the Canadian prairies who's always been a believer in growth, learning and the occasional well-earned mulligan.

I started Moonshot as a way to push myself to try something completely outside my comfort zone and avoid falling into the trap of complacency.  Life is too short to not take shots.  I wanted to build something from scratch, learn new skills, and create a brand that reflects who I am and where I'm going.

Sports have always been a part of my life.  I grew up playing tons of hockey and added baseball, squash and golf along the way.  I have only recently leaned into the game of golf - practicing more and improving my swing (slowly but surely), and enjoying every step along the way.  That same spirit of progress inspired the apparel side of this project.  I've loved designing gear that reflects my personal style: clean, subtle, with a hint of colour that stands out just enough. 

At its core, Moonshot is about chasing something bigger - whether that's a better game, a bolder life, or a dream that scares you just enough to mean something.  I hope when you wear this gear, it inspires you to swing freely - on the course and off.
